Cars, bikes, trucks.

I am a big fan of motorcycles and cars. I just love something that offers the combination of beauty and the beast. Beauty, means good looking and the performance of a beast in term of speed.

Since I'm in France at the moment, and I know that quite a big part of my life so far will be spent here (7 years out of 25, and I'm not 25 yet ok :p) so I always try to love French cars.

But sadly to say, most of the time they suck in the department of design. They are not that bad actually, but the problem is they are not sexy enough to melt me down. Peugeot 407 and its predecessor, Peugeot 406 coupé and saloon are quite nice. And the new Renault Mégane too.

Do you even know that certain Proton cars like Savyy and Waja (before Campro) use Renault's engine? Savyy use the one used for Renault Clio and Waja shares the same one with Renault Laguna.

The 1st is the 406, 2nd and 3rd pics are the 407.

This is Renaul Mégane. Very nice isn't it?

Wait a minute, the 406 coupé was designed by Pininfarina, an Italian car designer whose works including designing some Ferraris. For those who are in Malaysia, have a look at Hyundai/Inokom Matrix, there is Pininfarina badge at the back.

French cars need a proper identity, something that can make people think about France directly once the see it, like the German' and the Japanese'. France does have such identity, but it is not that good at the moment. Quite a lot need to be done before they can breath level with the German, Italian and the Japanese.

Not so many cars have been drove by me. Last year, we had a road trip to Barcelona and Madrid. We rented a 7 seater Opel Zafarul.. Opss Opel Zafira. It was powered by a 1.7L diesel engine. Suprisingly, I easily reached 180-200km/h, even though the car was full of big sizers.

I was so impressed with its performance. Only 1.7L, and it is a diesel engine! People say that diesel powered engine' performance is not as good as a petrol powered', in term of acceleration and speed. Back home in Malaysia, my dad' 2.0L Hyundai Trajet is the last thing I want to drive in the world. And yes it use petrol. The engine seems to be underpower for that giant.

And I love that Zafira because of its 6 speeds gearbox. I always prefer manual cars, where I can decide which gear to use, and its acceleration is of course better than those automatic cars.

At the moment, I'm in love with German cars. Audi A4, A5, Volkswagen Polo and Scirocco. There are all just so sexy that if you put them side by side with Jenna Haze, I'll go for their exhaust. :p

You see, how sexy this red Volkswagen Scirocco is. Imagine I arrive at my workplace in this sexy machine alongside my 3 pieces Armani suit and sun glasses. You're a lesbian if you don't look at me. Heh this is just a little joke from me, no offence.

I was quite suprise about Volksagen' decision to launch Scirocco and Golf at the same period. And I never heard about Scirocco before. No wonder why, because when I checked at Wikipedia, the last generation of Scirocco was introduced back in early 90s.

This is the new Golf.

This is an Audi A4.

Familically I'll go for Golf or A4 because of their 4 doors. How about you all? I have lots to write, but lets just save the best for last.
