Holidays..

Once, my junior wrote of her dislikeness of examinations on her Facebook status. She said that because of that, her room became a mess. Yeah, I felt the same just now, since the last 2 weeks.

Only yesterday I started to unpack my bag after my USA trip. It is 2 weeks after I reach home. Seriously I just got no time to do so. I had extremely lots of things need to be done. Precisely it is revision, revision, revision all the time. I am glad that nightmare is over.

I had enough. I want to have a slower student life. To be honest, I think this semester is my worst semester here. So glad, finally I don't have tests anymore for this semester.

Sometimes, I think my class is kinda 'Academy Fantasia'. There were always students who left. Imagine, when I first register here last year, there were around 50 students. Then in the second semester, we were 44. And now, in the third semester, there are only 24 students in my batch. And it is certain that there are some students who will not proceed into 4th semester.

Right now, out of that 24 remaining students, half of them, 12, are having grade below than 10. We don't use 4 pointer system, but we use 20 marks system, it is the same principe, only that we use 20 instead of 4.

In 2 weeks time, I'll have my 2 weeks winter break. Yeah, the one we had in December, 2 weeks ago, was not a winter break. It was a 2-week Christmas break baby. Just 4 weeks after that Christmas break, we are going to have another two weeks break.

Since my winter break in 2008, 2 years ago, I have never stay at my place during all 1-week or 2-week breaks I had.

Spring break, Apr 2007 : Malaysia.

4 days weekend, May 2007 : Lille, Amsterdam and Brussels.

Toussaints, Oct 2007 : Stay in La Rochelle hosting Hari Raya celebration.

Christmas break, Dec 2007 : Stay in La Rochelle

Winter break, Feb 2008 : Blois, Colmar, Basel and Freiburg.

Spring break, April 2008 : Barcelona, Madrid and Marrakesh.

4 days weekend in May 2008 I went to Nancy.

Toussaints, October 2008 : Madrid and Barcelona again, and Tours on a road tour.

Christmas break, Dec 2008 : London, Venice, Rome, Mulhouse and Paris.

Winter break, Feb 2009 : Athens, Ephesus and Istanbul.

Spring break, April 2009 : Budapest, Bratislava and Vienna.

Toussaints, October 2009 : Manchester and Liverpool.

Christmas break, Dec 2009 : New York, Wilmington, Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Key West.

See, I used to have such hectic breaks. The last time I went nowhere during holidays, was back in December 2007, I stayed in La Rochelle during the whole 2 weeks of Christmas break.

So now I decide to stay in Angoulême for this winter break, I want to rest as much as possible. It is tiring. 3 semesters in Angouleme with 8am to 6pm classes plus all those travels. Hey, what did I do during my summer breaks? I did those heavy building construction work maybe, that is why I am so tired now isn't it? :p

Voilà some pictures from that road trip, my 2nd time in Barcelona and Madrid. I love Barcelona so much because it is not too dirty. Almost all the big cities are dirty. Rome, Madrid, London and Paris specially. I miss paella!
