I wake up at 630am. Before 7am, I shower, perform my religious obligation, having my breakfast then I’m off home, first I drop my brother and sister at their school. After that I drive to my office.
Normally it will always involve lots of cursing. Sometimes I can hardly accept the fact that they are all human. Changing lane without signalling, driving on the rightest lane at an unacceptable low speed, and the list goes on.
When I arrive at my workplace, there is another fight lays ahead. It is the fight for a parking space. If I arrive early, I’ll have the luxurious to choose from an RM4 a day space in the office compound, or an RM3 a day parking at a restaurant just beside the office compound. These 2 options are close to the office.
But if I arrive late, not only I need to pay RM6 for a parking space, but I need to walk 15 minutes to my office. Cannot complain about this, remember our friends who work in KLCC or nearby. They might end up paying RM20 a day. But they can go there by the LRT.
The earliest I can go home is at 530pm. That is the time I can quite the office. Normally I can only start to drive home at 10 to 6pm. Normally I’ll arrive home around 630pm-7pm.
But now I have a new habvit of going to the gym after working hour, so finally I arrive home after 8pm. That is a day in my life for the moment being till the end of august.
It is tiring, but I enjoy it because my officemates are awesome! Don’t complain, imagine people who works on site onshore or offshore for 7 days a week with 12 hour shifts. Sometimes 7 days nonstop till up to 45 consecutive days!
A friend of mine is working in a consultancy firm works every weekday from 9 to late night, the earliest till 9pm. Most of the weekend he needs to work on Saturdays and Sundays too.
I still have a long way to go, I don’t know how my life will be once I work. Just wait and see.
