Best case scenario.

Again, my blog is left away just like that by me. It's February already. 2 bon mois, and I'll hang up (better left them untouched in my beg, hang up is an expression for retiring from boot-wearing sport like football) my books and pencil case for a while till September.

Last weekend, I went to Paris to welcome my schoolmate from Russia with his friends. As usual, I took them to several interesting spot in Paris. Then we had KFC. Not that classic one. I am no longer confident about KFC' 'halal'ity in France.

I hanged out with Zai and Long, 2 of my friends who are doing their internship here in France. We talked a lot about friends, especially my UTP friends. Them, most of them did their internship in big petroleum company, Exxon Mobile and Schlumberger to name a few. And this company will most probably welcome them again once they graduate. That is my adulthood dream (once I realized that I need to accept the truth). My childhood dream was always to be a formula 1 racer or a pilot.

But I will never regret that decision I made almost 4 years ago. Yes, if I stay at UTP, I'll be graduating even before I turn 23. But everything has pro and cons. You will graduate early my mate, but you miss something I have. And certainly, I miss something you have. At the end, it is a dull match isn't it?

Erm, my 2 weeks winter break is only 3 days away. Still I have no plan. Most probably, I will stay here, I want to rest as much as I can, sleep unlimitedly. And I want to try bake cakes, as I have an oven but I never used it. And maybe do some mutton cooking to accommodate this 'extreme' weather condition.

I am still waiting for a positive answer for my internship. I sent almost 30, or even more application already, but so far what I got is a failed interview in Paris. Worst case scenario (best case actually), I'll do it in Kuala Terengganu.. That is why it can be a kinda best case scenario actually. Got one offer already with MSET. Still trying to get a better one.

One bad thing is, I will miss the internship allowance. Here in France, the companies are obliged to pay at least 400€ per month for an internship lasting for more than 3 months. Plus JPA will also pay us if we do our internship in a place situated more than 25km from our university.

But seriously, I don't mind doing a pay-less internship if I can stay in Malaysia. It is a heaven for me.

Today my dad start a new chapter in his life, working far away from comfortable home and family. He has been transfered to KL. I don't like this. It is going to be difficult for me to see him. At the moment, my family decided to stay in KT. My dad told me he is even thinking of retiring. We don't like living in KL. KL is a good place for me during weekend and short breaks, but not for such a long time. Plus my siblings are still in school. We'll see.
